Leo Triplet is a nice group of galaxies in the constellation of Leo. The Leo Triplet looks especially beautiful on images. It consists of spiral galaxies M65, M66 and NGC3628, they make the core of M66 group of galaxies. Members of M66 group are gravitationally bound together and result of their mutual gravitational influence can be seen in their structure. The distance of the Leo Triplet is some 35 000 kly.
